Indictments and Charges in Connection with Knoxville Woman's Death

Four individuals, including Latawyne Osborne, have been indicted in connection to the death of 22-year-old Danishka Sibaja Mejia, who was found dead in a Knoxville home. The charges include first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, especially aggravated kidnapping, and aggravated burglary. Mejia was found dead alongside two other gunshot victims, and another man, Osborne, was charged with rape following a sexual assault report made by Mejia. The investigation is ongoing, and all four individuals are currently in custody.
