Idaho Man Faces Multiple Charges for Capitol Breach Actions

An Idaho man, Theo Hanson, has been arrested on felony and misdemeanor charges for his involvement in the breach of the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. Hanson is accused of obstructing an official proceeding, civil disorder, knowingly entering a restricted building, disorderly conduct, and violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds. He was captured on CCTV footage illegally entering the Capitol, obstructing security doors, and assisting other rioters in gaining access to the building. Over 1,200 individuals have been charged in connection with the Capitol breach, with investigations ongoing.
