High-speed chase on I-240 ends in gunfire and arrest

A man is in custody following a shooting incident on I-240 in Memphis. The incident began with a prowler call, and as the suspect fled the scene, a passenger in the car pointed a gun at officers. A pursuit ensued, during which the suspects abandoned the stolen car and attempted to escape on foot. One suspect turned and pointed a weapon at an officer, who discharged his weapon in response. One suspect was apprehended, and no injuries have been reported. I-240 West at Getwell Road is currently closed for investigation.
