Healthcare workers arrested for live streaming abuse of elderly patient

Two health care workers in Florida were arrested and charged for allegedly verbally abusing and taunting an elderly woman with dementia on a live stream. The suspects, Jada Harris and Shy’Tiona Bishop, were charged with video voyeurism, abuse, and neglect of an elderly or disabled adult. The facility where the incident occurred fired the suspects and the victim is now safe with professional health care workers. Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey called the suspects "pieces of crap" and expressed his anger over the incident.
