Girlfriend of Derrick Groves Arrested in Connection to Escape

Darriana Burton, the girlfriend of escaped inmate Derrick Groves, was arrested for allegedly helping him escape by communicating with him through inmate messaging systems and planning the escape, which authorities say she knowingly participated in. She is charged with conspiracy to commit simple escape and is the first accomplice to be arrested in connection with the escape.
