Gilgo Beach Suspect's Wife Makes First Court Appearance

The estranged wife of Gilgo Beach murder suspect Rex Heuermann attended one of his court appearances for the first time. Asa Ellerup, who filed for divorce shortly after Heuermann's arrest for the murders of three sex workers, plans to attend every court date to see the evidence for herself. Heuermann is charged with the murders of Melissa Barthelemy, Megan Waterman, and Amber Costello, and is also a prime suspect in the disappearance of Maureen Brainard-Barnes. He is due back in court on February 6.
