"Georgetown County Deputies on the Hunt for Escaped 14-Year-Olds"

The Georgetown County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's help in locating two 14-year-old boys who escaped from the AMI detention facility and allegedly stole a silver 2017 Toyota Corolla. The teens reportedly snatched the keys from an employee's belt and have not yet been identified. One of the escapees was charged with unlawful carrying a weapon, while the other was charged with unlawful carrying a weapon and possession of a stolen vehicle. Authorities have not released photos of the teens, but they have family in the Greenwood area.
