Fredonia Native Found Dead in Budapest, Suspect Arrested

A Western New York native, Mackenzie Michalski, was killed in Budapest after going missing earlier this week. Hungarian police have arrested a 37-year-old Irish man who confessed to the murder and led authorities to her body. Michalski, a nurse practitioner from Portland, Oregon, was last seen at a nightclub. Her family expressed gratitude to authorities and the community for their support. A candlelight vigil will be held in her honor in Fredonia.
