Former New Britain Teacher Arrested for Inappropriate Behavior with Students

A former special education teacher at Lincoln Elementary School in New Britain, Connecticut, has been arrested following an investigation into inappropriate behavior. The teacher, Erving Rivera, was immediately removed from the school in February and placed on leave while the New Britain Police Department and the Department of Children and Families investigated. Rivera resigned from his role with New Britain Public Schools in March. The charges against him have not been clarified.
