Former Marine Admits Guilt in Planned Parenthood Firebombing and Dodger Stadium Attack Plot

A U.S. Marine stationed at Camp Pendleton has pleaded guilty to his involvement in a 2022 attack on a Planned Parenthood clinic in Costa Mesa, California, where he and another man threw a Molotov cocktail at the facility. The Marine, along with two co-conspirators, admitted to planning additional attacks at various sites in Southern California. The men targeted the clinic in an attempt to intimidate abortion providers and scare pregnant women. They also discussed attacking other locations, including an LGBTQ pride night celebration and a Jewish advocacy organization. The Marine, who was inspired by the Unabomber, faces up to 20 years in federal prison for each count.
