"Former Georgia Beauty Queen Arrested for Toddler's Murder"

Trinity Poague, a former beauty queen and college student at Georgia Southwestern State University, has been arrested and charged with murder, aggravated battery, and first-degree child cruelty in connection with the death of an 18-month-old toddler. The child was taken to the hospital unresponsive and later died despite resuscitation attempts. Poague, who was crowned Miss Donalsonville in 2023, is being held without bond, and her case will be handed to the Southwestern Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office pending the investigation's completion.
