Former Federal and VA Officer Sentenced to 14 Years for Hidden Camera Exploitation of Minors in Oregon

Former federal officer Robert Wayne Roady was sentenced to 14 years in prison for placing hidden cameras to get sexually explicit photos and videos of minors. Roady pleaded guilty to one count of attempted transportation of child pornography. The investigation began in October of 2020 when someone reported Roady to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office. This case was brought as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative launched in May 2006 by the Department of Justice to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse.
