Florida Mother Stabs Hospital Employees in Attempted Baby Theft

A woman in Palm Beach County, Florida, was arrested after allegedly attempting to steal her three-day-old baby from the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at HCA Florida Palms West Hospital. The woman stabbed three hospital employees who tried to intervene, but she managed to drop off the infant with a family member and flee before authorities arrived. The baby was transported back to the hospital and is in stable condition. The woman has been charged with multiple offenses, including aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and aggravated child abuse.
