"Florida Man's Shocking Confession: 'I Just Killed My Brother' and Assaults Detective"

A Florida man was arrested and charged with murder after confessing to police that he killed his brother. Joshua Robert Brinkley, 41, made the confession to officers who responded to his home after he made concerning statements to acquaintances. The victim was found dead with gunshot wounds inside the house. Brinkley was also charged with battery on a law enforcement officer after kicking a detective during his arrest. Police stated that the murder was an isolated incident and that the public is not in danger.
