"Florida Couple Found Drunk on Beach, Leaving Kids Unattended"

A Georgia couple was arrested on child neglect charges in Daytona Beach, Florida after being found passed out on the beach with empty alcohol containers while their 5 and 7-year-old children were left unsupervised. The children were later found swimming in the hotel pool. The man, not the biological father, was also charged with possession of alcohol on the beach and escape after attempting to run away while handcuffed and falling unconscious. Both parents were released on bond the next day.
