FBI Arrests Charlottesville Man for Operating Prostitution Ring

Brian Lamont Turner, a Charlottesville man, was arrested for violating the Mann Act by operating a prostitution ring that posted hundreds of commercial sex ads for adult women in multiple states. Turner controlled all aspects of arranging commercial sex dates, targeted women with drug addictions, and used their addictions to control them. He also possessed a firearm and used it to compel his victims to follow his instructions. The FBI is investigating the case, and Turner is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
