Fatal shootings at grocery stores in Columbus

A man was shot dead in a Kroger parking lot in Columbus, Ohio, after a line-cutting argument inside the store. Police believe the shooting may have been a result of a confrontation with a store security guard. The guard intervened during the dispute, but a short time later, a man retaliated against a customer involved in that incident by attempting to rob that person in the parking lot. The man fired shots, which led the security guard to shoot and kill the man. Police found multiple weapons in the parking lot, and investigators were seeking at least one additional person involved in the confrontation.
