Fatal Shooting Outside Palm Bay 7-Eleven: Innocent Bystander Killed in Carjacking

A 23-year-old man was arrested in connection with a deadly shooting outside a 7-Eleven store in Palm Bay. The victim, an innocent man, was shot multiple times and later died from his injuries. The suspect fled the scene and led law enforcement on a chase into Indian River County before being apprehended. The suspect is facing charges of first-degree murder and armed carjacking. Police believe the crime was one of opportunity and there is no evidence that the suspect knew the victim. The victim's name is being withheld under Marsy's Law.
