Fatal Shooting of Cyclist in East Birmingham

A man was shot and killed while riding his bicycle on a street in east Birmingham. Police believe the shooting was targeted and not random. This incident is one of two fatal shootings that occurred within 12 hours in the city. So far this year, there have been 83 homicides in Birmingham and 115 in all of Jefferson County. No arrests have been made in either case, and authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.
