Fatal Shooting: Man Allegedly Holding Firearm Fatally Shot by Aurora Police

Aurora Police are investigating a deadly shooting in the Delmar Parkway neighborhood after officers fired at a man holding a firearm. The incident occurred after officers monitoring street cameras witnessed a confrontation between two men, with one pulling out a firearm. Despite attempts to communicate with the armed suspect, he was noncompliant, leading to an officer firing at him. The man was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. The other suspect involved was taken into custody. The incident was captured on body camera, and two officers have been placed on leave pending the investigation.
