Fatal Shooting in St. Paul: Man Charged with Murder After Assault at Bus Stop

A man in St. Paul is facing murder charges after allegedly shooting and killing his girlfriend's ex-boyfriend at a bus stop. Witnesses reported that the ex-boyfriend assaulted the woman before the suspect fired multiple shots at him. The woman had been dating the victim on and off for four years and had recently started dating the suspect. The suspect claimed he "blacked out" and shot the victim in defense of his girlfriend. He has been charged with second-degree murder and could face up to 40 years in prison if convicted.
