Fatal Shooting in Sacramento: Man Killed in Domestic Incident Identified

A man identified as Christopher Saunders was shot and killed during a domestic incident at an apartment in Sacramento. Saunders had entered the apartment and attempted to get his estranged wife to leave with him, but when she refused, a man inside the apartment shot Saunders in self-defense. The Sacramento County Sheriff's Office has deemed the shooting a justifiable homicide, but the final determination will be made by the District Attorney's Office after further investigation.
