Fatal Shooting During Missouri Home Eviction Claims Lives of Police Officer and Civil Process Server

A police officer and a court employee were killed, and two other officers were injured during an eviction at a home in Independence, Missouri. The incident occurred when a civil process server was shot, prompting a request for assistance from the Independence Police Department. The officers who arrived at the scene were fired upon, and a male suspect was taken into custody with minor injuries.
