Fatal Shooting at Worcester State University: Victim Identified, Suspect Still at Large

Classes at Worcester State University in Massachusetts have been canceled as authorities continue to search for 18-year-old Kevin Rodriguez, who is wanted on charges of unlawful possession of a firearm and armed assault with intent to murder in connection with a fatal shooting on campus. The victim has been identified as 19-year-old Randy Armando Melendez Jr. The shooting occurred during an altercation between two groups of people, neither of which were students of the university. The second victim, a 21-year-old man, sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Rodriguez is considered armed and dangerous, and anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact the authorities.
