Fatal shooting at West Hills shopping center leaves 1 dead and 3 injured.

One person was killed and three others were hospitalized after a drug deal gone wrong led to a shootout in the parking lot of a Trader Joe's in West Hills. LAPD Deputy Chief Alan Hamilton said the shooting stemmed from a dispute between two parties in an apparent drug deal. Two firearms were recovered from the parking lot during the preliminary investigation, and police are investigating the incident as possibly gang-related. All parties involved are either hospitalized or in custody, and two people remain hospitalized while three are in police custody.
