Fatal Police Shooting at Love's Truck Stop Leaves One Dead in Albuquerque

One person has died in a police shooting in northwest Albuquerque after officers responded to a call from a man in a mental health crisis who claimed to be armed. After negotiations, the man walked around with a gun and pointed it at officers, prompting them to fire their weapons. The man then re-entered his vehicle and attempted to drive away, with investigators trying to determine if a subsequent gunshot was self-inflicted. The Multi-Agency Task Force is conducting an investigation.
