"Fatal Officer-Involved Shooting Ends Pasadena Pursuit"

Pasadena police shot and killed a 36-year-old armed man after a pursuit ended in a residential neighborhood. The man, wanted for assault with a deadly weapon on a police officer, crashed into a house after fleeing from officers. He then entered two homes before being found in a backyard, where he engaged with a police K9 and pulled out a handgun. Despite orders to drop the weapon, an officer shot and killed him. The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office will investigate the incident.
