Fatal Officer-Involved Shooting Claims Two Lives Near Grand Street in Amarillo

Two people died after an officer-involved shooting in Amarillo, Texas, during a traffic stop. The back seat passenger pointed a pistol at the officers, resulting in the officers shooting him. The front seat passenger was also struck by gunfire and later died in the hospital. The incident is currently under investigation by the APD Homicide Unit.
