"Fatal Officer-Involved Incidents Rock South Carolina"

A suspect in a double homicide was killed in an officer-involved shooting in Landrum, South Carolina, after law enforcement located him at a residence and he brandished a firearm. The suspect, who had a close relationship with the two victims, was recently released from jail on bond and was wearing an ankle monitor. The State Law Enforcement Division (SLED) is investigating the shooting, and six law enforcement members have been placed on leave as standard procedure.
