Fatal Fishing Incident Claims Indiana Man's Life in Scioto County Creek

Richard Turner, also known as "Peck," is wanted in connection with the attempted drowning of a Scioto County sheriff's deputy in Ohio. The incident occurred when the deputy responded to a call about squatters on someone's property. Turner confronted the deputy and both ended up in a pond, where Turner held the deputy's head underwater. The deputy briefly lost consciousness but was treated and released from the hospital. Two other individuals in the vacant house have been taken into custody. Turner remains at large, and law enforcement is conducting a search.
