Fatal Dog Attack Claims Life of Utah Woman in Taylorsville

A 63-year-old woman in Taylorsville, Utah, has died after being mauled by her son's pack of pit bulls. The attack occurred in her backyard, and she managed to call the police while still under attack. Officers used pepper spray to reach her and she was taken to the hospital in critical condition, but one of her legs had to be amputated. The woman died in the hospital, and the female dog involved was fatally shot by an officer. The remaining dogs were captured, and the incident is under investigation with no charges filed yet.
