Fatal Carjacking Attempt Claims Life in South Philadelphia

A 50-year-old man was shot and killed during an attempted carjacking in South Philadelphia. The man's friend was driving a Pontiac sedan when two suspects forced her out of the car at gunpoint and demanded the keys. The registered owner of the vehicle intervened and was shot and killed by one of the carjackers. The suspects fled in a red SUV, and police are searching for the vehicle.
