Fatal Accidents Plague Minneapolis Streets.

A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run incident in south Minneapolis early Sunday morning. The victim was found dead in the street at the intersection of 26th Street East and Hiawatha Avenue. The driver, who was going southbound on Hiawatha Avenue, fled the scene before the police arrived. The incident is under investigation. The victim's identity has not been released.
