Farmer's Armed Response Sends Would-be Burglars Running

Washington state farmer Sam Krautscheid thwarted an attempted burglary on his farm when he encountered two suspects creeping around his property. Krautscheid, armed with a gun, confronted the men and ordered them to the ground. One complied, while the other initially resisted but eventually surrendered. Krautscheid's three sons witnessed the incident from their truck. Deputies arrived within six minutes and arrested the suspects, who were found to have entered the property for criminal purposes. Krautscheid emphasized the importance of law-abiding citizens embracing the Second Amendment for self-defense. He has been actively involved in addressing rural crime in his community and called for the suspects to receive the maximum allowable sentence while urging them to seek help and change their lives.
