False Active Shooter Reports at Great Lakes Crossing in Michigan

False reports of an active shooter at Great Lakes Crossing Outlets in Auburn Hills caused panic and mass evacuation, but police reported no shots fired and no injuries after searching the mall. The reports followed an incident in which officers broke up a fight between two individuals, and an unknown individual shouted "shots fired," leading to the false reports. The two individuals involved in the fight fled the scene after being briefly handcuffed and have not yet been apprehended.
