Explosive Testimony Reveals New Connections in Gilgo Beach Serial Killings

New witnesses have come forward in the trial of Rex Heuermann, the suspect in the Gilgo Beach murders. One witness, a livery cab driver, claims to have picked up Shannan Gilbert, a victim found dead in 2010, from a motel where she had been hiding, as Heuermann allegedly fled the scene. Another witness testified that she and her boyfriend engaged in swinger activities with Heuermann and sex worker Karen Vergata, who allegedly stayed behind at Heuermann's home. The Suffolk County Police Department is investigating these new leads to determine if there are any connections to Heuermann or other individuals involved in the murders.
