Escaped Philadelphia Inmate Gino Hagenkotter Found Dead in Warehouse

Gino Hagenkotter, the man who escaped from a Philadelphia prison at the end of November, was found dead inside a warehouse in Philadelphia. Police believe he broke into the warehouse and his cause of death is under investigation. Hagenkotter escaped while working a detail assignment and was motivated to escape after learning he wouldn't be released until April. This marks the third escape from the prison's campus in 2023.
