Escaped Murder Suspect Recaptured After Months on the Run

Christopher Haynes, a murder suspect who escaped from police custody at a Washington, D.C. hospital nearly two months ago, has been recaptured by a fugitive task force led by the U.S. Marshals Service in Oxon Hill, Maryland. Haynes had assaulted an officer and fled with a handcuff still attached to his wrist. He was originally arrested in connection with a shooting death in August and will now face charges for the escape as well. The circumstances of his recapture and his presence in Oxon Hill remain unclear.
