Drug Use Suspected in Deaths of Nathan Millard and Georgia Businessman

Toxicology results for Nathan Millard, the Georgia businessman found dead in Baton Rouge, showed the presence of fentanyl, cocaine, and ethanol in his system. The cause of death was the combined effects of these substances, and officials ruled it as accidental. Derrick Perkins was arrested in connection with the case and charged with unlawful disposal of remains, obstruction of justice, simple criminal damage to property, and failure to seek assistance. Two women also face charges in connection with the investigation.
