Dozens arrested in St. Pete street racing crackdown, many underage

Law enforcement officials arrested 69 people, including juveniles and a couple who brought their young children, in an illegal street racing event in St. Petersburg. The bust resulted in 57 misdemeanor and 12 felony arrests, 24 citations, and the impounding of 23 vehicles, including a yellow Ferrari. The police reminded the public that it is illegal to be a spectator or participant in these events.
