Deputy Shoots Knife-Wielding Suspect in Boynton Beach

A Palm Beach County deputy shot a man wielding two knives in west Boynton Beach on Monday morning. The man was taken to Delray Medical Center and has already been treated and released, and is now being questioned by authorities. The deputies involved have been placed on paid administrative leave, and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement is investigating the incident. The man had a mental health issue, and had previously tried to take his own life back in March.
