Deadly Shootout: Suspect Killed in Firefight with Deputy and Police in Columbus

A man died after a shooting involving multiple Columbus police officers and at least one Franklin County Sheriff's deputy on the city's East Side. The incident began when a man entered a Walgreens and reported being shot at by another man outside. A deputy went outside, shots were fired, and a chase ensued. The suspect ran into an apartment building, where officers fired shots. The suspect was taken to the hospital but later died. The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation will lead the investigation.
