"Deadly Shootout at Mission QuikTrip Leaves Officer Critical, Suspect Dead"

A shooting at a QuikTrip in Mission, Kansas, resulted in the death of a suspect and left a Fairway police officer in critical condition. The incident began when officers located a stolen vehicle and the suspect fled the scene, leading to a pursuit. The suspects ran into the QuikTrip, where officers from multiple departments attempted to arrest them. Gunfire was exchanged, resulting in the death of the male suspect and the injury of the Fairway police officer. A female suspect was taken into custody unharmed, and authorities are not currently seeking additional suspects.
