Deadly Shooting at Collierville Clinic Leaves Surgeon Dead

An orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Benjamin Mauck, was shot and killed by a patient inside a clinic in a suburb of Memphis. The suspect, who had been at the clinic for several hours, was apprehended outside the clinic five minutes after the shooting. The quick response from the police led to the suspect's arrest without further loss of life. The Campbell Clinic, where Dr. Mauck worked, expressed shock and heartbreak over the tragic loss and asked for prayers for his family.
