Deadly I-5 crash near Albany claims 7 lives.

A 52-year-old California man has been charged with DUII, manslaughter, and reckless driving following a three-vehicle crash on Interstate 5 in Oregon that killed seven people and injured four others. The driver of a semi-truck, Lincoln Clayton Smith, struck a Ford passenger van carrying 11 people and smashed it into another parked semi. Smith was given a medical evaluation and then later arrested and lodged at the Marion County Jail. Detectives are continuing to investigate the crash.
