Ike Souzer, a dangerous convicted felon, was captured in Mexico after walking away from a halfway house in Orange County. Despite a history of violent offenses, including stabbing his mother to death at 13, attacking correctional officers, and manufacturing a shank in jail, he received lenient sentences and repeatedly evaded authorities. O.C. District Attorney Todd Spitzer criticized the judicial system for granting Souzer multiple breaks, allowing him to repeatedly defy the law and escape consequences.
