Dallas Police Officer Shoots Armed Suspect, Leaves Them in Critical Condition

A suspect with prior criminal mischief and burglary of motor vehicle offenses was shot and critically injured by a Dallas police officer in the Old East Dallas area. The suspect became uncooperative during the encounter and pulled out a handgun, leading to the officer shooting the suspect in the torso. The officers involved were not injured, and the investigation is ongoing.
