"Correction Officer Charged in Fatal Road-Rage Shooting on I-691"

A correction officer in Connecticut, William Lucky, has been charged with murder after allegedly firing more than a dozen rounds at a motorist during a road-rage incident on a state highway, resulting in the victim's death. Lucky's 3-year-old son and the boy’s mother were in the car at the time of the shooting, and Lucky fled the scene but later surrendered to police. He has been placed on paid administrative leave at the New Haven jail where he worked, and is being held on $2.5 million bail.
