Sarasota police have recovered a cell phone video taken by Florida GOP chairman Christian Ziegler of his sexual encounter with a woman who has alleged he raped her. The video, along with surveillance footage from the woman's apartment complex, provides graphic evidence of the encounter. The surveillance video contradicts the woman's claim that Ziegler walked into her apartment after she opened the door to walk her dog. Ziegler arrived at her apartment shortly after she backed out of a proposed tryst involving him and his wife.
