Connecticut State Rep. Robin Comey Arrested for Drunken Driving After Rollover Crash.

Connecticut state representative Robin Comey was arrested and charged with operating under the influence after a rollover crash near the state capitol. Witnesses reported that Comey left a nearby bar, hit a car in the opposite lane, hit a dumpster, and then hit a parked SUV. She failed two field sobriety tests and had a blood alcohol concentration of 0.1446 and 0.1400. Speaker of the House Matt Ritter removed Comey from all committee and leadership assignments until further notice. Comey was previously accused of drinking at the capitol in 2021.
